MPH featuring Top Gear Live Launches Podcast Series to Engage Fans and Push Ticket Sales in Run Up to Annual Motor Show

The annual Prestige & Performance Motor show, ‘MPH featuring Top Gear Live’ is launching an eight-part audio podcast series to give fans a teaser of show content and push ticket sales.
The campaign, which will run from August to November, follows hugely successful results from a similar podcast series last year.

Podcast production company Podcast Voices has produced the series and will release a new episode every two weeks in the run up to the show, which starts on 30 October at Earls Court in London. Content includes interviews with stunt drivers and exhibitors from the show. Read the rest of this post »

Podcast Voices Creates New Baby and Toddler Audio Series for Parenting Website Bounty.com and Sponsor Huggies.

Parenting website Bounty appointed commercial audio and video podcast specialist Podcast Voices to create a second and third ‘evergreen’ series, providing a thirty-two part parenting guide.

The series, sponsored by Huggies, aims to educate new parents with answers to common baby and toddler questions. These new releases, Your Growing Baby and Your Toddler, complement the original Your Pregnancy podcast series – also created by Podcast Voices - launched successfully last year on Bounty.com.
The ultimate aim is to provide a consecutive series of podcasts designed to appeal to millions of new parents for years to come. They will encourage regular return visits from growing families and couples who are planning to have children. Read the rest of this post »

Atlantic 06 Welcome Home Parties

To welcome home Stu and Ed from their amazing voyage and to celebrate their achievements two parties were held in Manchester and London. Podcast Voices of course were there in force to show their support for the events organised by WAYN and I took the opportunity to entertain the attendees with a mix of music and highlights from the Podcasts.

Stuart Turnbull and Edward Bayliss succesfully rowed unsupported across the 3000 miles of the Atlantic Ocean in the Memory of Zayed, their 20 foot long plywood boat. They did all this in 63 days and encountered some truly horrendous weather conditions and extreme hunger along the way with only the strength of their own bodies to drive them on. Stu and Eds title charity was Cancer Research and they managed to raise over £200,000 for the charity during the challenge. Podcast Voices followed their progress and created the first podcast of its kind by bringing updates directly from the boat via satellite phone.
The podcasts were enjoyed by tens of thousands of listeners and subscribers through WAYN, iTunes and various podcast directories.

Business Week Cover Podcast Voices

In September 2005, Business Week online picked up on Podcast Voices exceptional production capabilities and featured us in this story:

Podcast Voices featured on BusinessWeek.com.

Excerpt:

One of my favorite geek news sites, TheInquirer.net, has hired a company called Podcast Voices to do its broadcasts. Basically, Podcast Voices’ professional readers will read the podcast and make it sound no less professional than BBC’s podcast. Independent, amateur podcaster’s are starting to contract for such services, too.

Sony Computer Entertainment and Lonely Planet Walking Guides

Podcast Voices were recently commissioned to record and produce an extensive collection of audio tours for Lonely Planet and Sony Computer Entertainment Europe [SCEE] PSP hand held games console, see press release.

This was a complex task which required exceptionally high quality production of 3 Tours for each of the 6 cities, in 5 different languages.

TheInquirer.net - Tech Podcast Testimonal

The Spodcast luvvies approached me to create TheInquirer.net Podcast show. Immediately we agreed, our sales agency managed to sign up Sun Microsystems as the key sponsor for our first two episodes. They were obviously as impressed as we were with it and have signed up to 3 more months straight sponsorship! Good work guys, our readers are now becoming loyal “listeners” and it’s become a revenue generator without too much effort from me!
