PodcastCon06 through the eyes of Podcast Voices
Podcast Voices were sponsors at this years UK PodcastCon 06 at CCT Smithfield in London last weekend. This years conference brought together the UK Podcast community with some informative and insightful panel debates and opportunities to discuss ideas in the networking sessions.
The day began with a panel on creative podcasting followed by a fascinating panel on Podcasting for Business and if ever there was a fantastic example of how successful podcasting can improve your business Heather Gorringe from Wiggly Wigglers is it. Podcasting has now replaced her mainstream advertising and has lead to amazing growth in her mailorder business.
Further panels tackled issues behind Podcasting, news and social media with the afternoon being rounded off with product demo’s open sessions and some great live music. The fantastic sounds of Slashed Seat Affair were enjoyed to the backdrop of Podcast Voices visuals followed by a fascinating panel on promoting, selling and distributing music through the podcast medium. Other live music included appearances from from Jimmy Golding and The Shakes who were introduced by Adam Curry of Podshow fame.
