Project Description
eSkills are a part government funded organisation that lead the way in forwarding education and support in IT. They have many departments specialising in all aspects of eLearning and IT from Diploma’s in Higher Education, Education programmes in schools to support for small businesses with using IT to enhance business. In order for them to evangelise about their work and promote what they do they have harnessed the huge power of online media.
Our Solution
Podcast Voices has been involved with many projects for eSkills. We have encoded exisiting video material and optimising for the web through to assiting with the design and implementation of flash videos and overlay players on their website.
We have produced promotional videos such as the one shown below designed to draw attention to their IT Diploma’s. We have also worked with some of their partner companys such as Logica and EDS to promote their work with educating and growing the IT workforce of the future. All titling effects and music has been designed and composed by Podcast Voices. In the case of the above promotional video, full storyboards were created to ensure that titling and effects followed what the client required assisting with the approval process and ensured the video addressed its target audience effectively.
Part of what eSkills does for students is put on events and activities for them to engage with employers and one such event was the ITMB event shown below. We filmed the full day and produced a series of videos that both show highlights of various aspects as well as full videos of guest speaker sessions and panel debates. All music, titling and effects were designed by Podcast Voices specialist producers and multiple camera crews were also supplied by us. This production as with all of our work for eSkills includes bespoke music production specially composed to best reflect their branding.
